What’s this about SD cards? Class 4 or class 6

Class 6 SD card

When I got my original SD card for my Pi, I was told to buy a Class 6; it was said that it would be more reliable.  It’s proved to work fine and I’ve had to reload the operating system (OS) and other software when I’ve had the disasters documented in my last post.  Then later, I needed to download a new version of Scratch with input and output, that is a version of Scratch called Scratch GPIO*.  To save all the hassle I bought a new SD card from Wishtrac and this one’s a Class 4.

Can someone tell me what the difference is?

That’s the end of this blurb. Happy Raspberry Pi-ing!
