Sorting Harry Potter hats for Hour of Code

Found this great activity by Simon Johnson this morning! pibrella-setup150x150 The Raspberry Pi organisation have made some really good activities for Hour of Code this week (8 – 14 Dec, 2014).  I’ve got all the equipment needed so just have to make time to code it in Scratch.  Find it at: http://www.raspberrypi.org/learning/sorting-hat-lesson/

It uses the Pibrella button/switch.  I’ve managed to adapt it from Python to Scratch GPIO and got it running with four different hat costumes – and sounds from the Scratch sound bank.

  1. Hi Simon, Someone at RaspberryPi.org did all the work. I just tried it out for myself. I haven’t tried it out with a group of pupils yet because we are only working on Code Club’s Scratch 1 curriculum at present.
